To know the history of cooperatives is to delve into an important part of the history of our rural environment. Why cooperatives exist, how they work to contribute to the environment, what fate would await us if cooperatives disappeared… The idiosyncrasy and characteristics of our towns are closely related to the economic activities carried out in the different territories, and here cooperatives have a lot to say.
With this video series, representatives from different entities tell us when and why the cooperative came into existence, how they have evolved, growing in members and services, and how they face the threat of generational renewal.
Four different visions and origins, four needs addressed with a common solution: cooperativism.
