On 24–25 September 2025, Cortegana (Huelva) will become an international meeting point for the agri-food sector with the celebration of the final Seminar of the International Forum for the Exchange of Sustainable Practices in Organic Production and the 3rd Dissemination Workshop of the Agroecology Partnership. The first session will be held on Wednesday, 24 September, at the Hotel Sierra Luz, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with online streaming for those unable to attend in person. The programme will conclude with an organic product tasting lunch, offered by the Agroecology Partnership. On Thursday, 25 September, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., participants will join a technical visit to Finca Montefrío, located in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. This family-run organic farm, dedicated to agritourism and the breeding of 100% Iberian acorn-fed pigs, will showcase sustainable practices applied in the rural environment. Under the theme “Economic sustainability and generational renewal”, the seminar will bring together three Andalusian organic agri-food SMEs —La Umbría Ibérico Ecológico, Huerta Las Chinas and Finca Montefrío— alongside the international SME Macelleria Savigni (Italy). These companies will present their experiences, innovations and tools aimed at ensuring the economic viability of organic production and fostering generational renewal in farming. Registration is open until 23 September at 12:00 p.m. via the following link: More information and contact: |
