In a context where gender equality remains an unfinished challenge for the agri-food sector, the Women Leaders in Agrifood network is consolidating itself as a driver of change in Europe. Created in 2024 in Seville to give visibility to and connect women who are transforming the agri-food system, the initiative takes a firm step forward in 2025 with the addition of 10 Portuguese leaders, strengthening its presence on the Iberian Peninsula and bringing together key voices from across Europe and other countries. Its goal: to boost innovation, sustainability and equity in a sector vital for the future.
